Dear Women of Guild,
As we turn the calendar and enter into March, we are reminded that the three leaf clover, symbolic of St. Patrick's day, stands for Faith, Hope and Love. These three virtues are critical in forming the way we live, especially when it comes to nurturing our seeds of faith during Lent. As we prepare for Easter, remember to embrace your faith, continuously hope for God's will and always share your love with others.
And speaking of Love and charity, join us on Tuesday, March 14th to make soup for Souper Heroes, a street-level outreach program serving freshly prepared, nutritious food to the homeless. Scroll down to
register and pick a shift. Grab your apron and get ready to give back to those in need!
Embracing the virtues mentioned above, please join Suzy Hick for the Stations of the Cross as seen through the eyes of our Blessed Mother Mary. There will be two dates to gather: March 14th & April 4th. Please scroll down to learn more about this beautiful and powerful interpretation of the stations. All are welcome.
Looking ahead to April, please join us for our annual Spring Luncheon on Wednesday, April 19th. This year we will welcome Julie Unruh as our guest speaker at the Glen View Club. As a wife, mother of three, former WGN midday news anchor, Emmy award winning general assignment reporter and FHC parishioner, Julie will share her journey of surviving a career in Chicago TV news with the help of plastic pearls and a pen! Scroll down to register today.
Finally, the Guild is looking for women who are looking for something to do! Whether it's a leadership role, sharing your artistic talents or just wanting to help behind the scenes, the board would like to find a spot for you. Please scroll down to learn how you can get involved with the Guild!
Until next month, stay well and God Bless!
