As a follow up to our highly popular workshop from One Theatre World 2013, Andrew Frank will we hosting this event focusing on how in today's nonprofit world our organizations need to spend less and be as efficient as possible. In this workshop we will mine the collective knowledge of those attending to help surface some new ideas on how to do this. From insurance issues, to technology and managing staff we will survey the basic areas of managing a nonprofit in order to find ways to do it better and cheaper, while at the same time examine ways to generate revenue through new marketing and development initiatives.

ANDREW FRANK - EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, MAKING BOOKS SING & INTERIM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF QUEENS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

Andrew is currently the Executive Director of Making Books Sing and the Interim Executive Director of Queens Symphony Orchestra. Andrew also has an active organizational consulting practice focusing on Strategic Planning and Transitions. Previously, Andrew was the Director of the Cultural Institutions Unit at the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs. As a commercial producer, in addition to a number of Off-Broadway projects Andrew was an Associate Producer on Broadway with “Lombardi, A New American Play.” Andrew taught graduate Directing at NYU in the Department of Dramatic Writing and is a certified personal coach from NYU. Andrew’s passion is working with artists, entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations.
