2015 is unwinding its wonder in great speed. As we go into the second month of the year, we welcome you to join the family and friends of The Meditation Center and Gallery to share in the variety of activities here. The following is the calendar of events for the month of February.

Foundation Course in Raja Yoga Meditation
Starts on Monday, February 2 at 6:00pm
Monday and Wednesday nights
6:30PM - 7:45PM
The Meditation Foundation Course includes eight sessions.
Registration begins at 6:00 PM.
Meditation enables us to create new attitudes and responses to life, providing a spiritual understanding of ourselves. Meditation is the process of rediscovering and using our positive qualities. Like any skill, meditation requires practice to become a natural and easy habit.
The Foundation Course is also available at other times by appointment. Group course offerings are available off-site by request. Please call for more information.

Anger Management
Saturday, February 28, 2015 10:00am - 1:00pm
This workshop explores anger and its expressions, moving from textbook definitions of anger to the more spiritual realm, in which, first and foremost, I accept that no one can make me angry, but I allow myself to become angry -- therefore, I am responsible for my own anger. Through introspective exercises and small-group discussions, participants will practice looking at anger through a spiritual lens, with the goal of transforming anger into good wishes and productive feelings.
