A few tips from you & ME this week!

Maybe this is old news to some, but to me it's new....The quilt i'm working on, some of the seams i need to press open. I really dislike pressing seams open cause they mess up my other seams, plus as the quilt gets longer it gets harder...Anyways, last night in bed i'm thinking how i can do this...my solution? ROLLING PIN. So this morning i tried it...it worked perfect..didn't mess up my other seams...now i don't mind open seams...enjoy your day..i placed the rolling pin on a clean dish towel so it wouldn't roll around.

I am finding more and more uses for Wonderclips! I sew my binding on by machine by pulling to the FRONT and blanket stitching (TUTORIAL HERE).
But the corners can be an issue to get right. I will use a glue stick under the binding area, then clamp them turn down with the wonderclip. This gives me great control over the corner. Find Wonderclips HERE
