I have two places left for a full day Patchwork Cushion Workshop on Saturday 30th March. You will learn Strip Patchwork techniques to achieve a variety of abstract and geometric designs, by cutting strips and blocks of fabric in varying lengths and sizes and then sewing them together in different ways. I will also teach you the traditional technique called Log Cabin.

Get ready to have fun combining different coloured fabrics, cutting them (with a rotary cutter, ruler and cutting mat) and sewing everything together, to accomplish the loveliest of results. You will sew a cushion cover.

Materials List:
Fabric for the patchwork cushion is available from Annabels Kunst Atelier at an additional cost of €8,- per person.

However if you choose to bring your own:

You will need at least 4 - 8 different fabrics (at least 20 cm wide). These can be scraps of fabric or patchwork fabric. Please bring fabric for the back of the cushion (at least 50 cm wide) and corresponding threads. Fabric should not be jersey or stretch.

You require a cutting mat, a ruler and a rotary cutter. These can be purchased on Amazon or Buttinette. I have 2 extra cutting mats which can be reserved on booking.
Please also bring a sewing machine, fabric scissors, pins and tailors chalk.
