A Group of 33 students and 4 teachers spent 8 days at New Delhi. They witnessed the Republic Day Parade, the P.M.’s NCC Parade and The Beating of The Retreat. They also visited historical monuments in apart from Hindon Air Force Station (Hindon AFS) We wish to extend our special thanks to Mr. Praveen Gurnani a very close friend of the Society who took complete care of the logistic and boarding facility for the group.
The Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali, chose the Secretary of the Society, Mr. G.K. Swamy for the current year’s INST Radhakrishnan Award, for his contribution to Education. Six other children from the school were also chosen for various awards, namely INST Ramanujan, INST CV Raman Award (boys) and INST Kalpana Chawla Award (for girls). The Republic day was celebrated at the school on 26th January 2013. A March Pass followed by Patriotic songs, PT & aerobics display was the highlight. Both the Secretary and the Principal of the School talked about the very many facets that constitute service to the Nation.
A staff get-together was organized on the 15th of January 2015 at a farmhouse in Doodhli, 45 KMs away. Fun games helped highlight elements such as team work and people got to know each other. A 3600 feedback session on the Institution and the Management was also useful.
Practical examinations for Accounts, Business Studies, Physical Education, Chemistry, Physics, Informatics, Computer Science. for our Class 12 has since begun. Outside examiners nominated by CBSE have been evaluating our Students.
