Dear Women of the Guild,

As we turn the calendar and head into November, we pause to give Thanks for all of God's gifts. As a community of faith-filled women, we are Grateful for our spiritual sisters and family. And we are simply Blessed, to witness the presence of God in all of you.

Join us this month, starting on Wednesday, November 2nd, to help Arrange Flowers For Others. No experience is necessary, just a desire to share time with other women while making simple bouquets of flowers for those needing a little cheer. We will meet in the parish center and just outside on the patio. Please dress for the weather! And later that evening, join fellow parishioners in the church for a special All Soul's Day Remembrance Service. All are welcome.

Registration for Advent Candlelight is this week on Thursday, November 3 at 10am for dues paying Members of the Guild. For Nonmembers, registration is on Monday, November 7th at 10am. Please see Link Buttons below to register and mark your calendar as this event sells out fast! *P.S. It's not too late to become a member! See Membership Registration Link(s) below_.*

And don't forget to register for Italy at Home Church Tour on Wednesday, November 9th. We will travel by bus along with a special guide to learn about three Italian-influenced Catholic churches in Chicago.

Finally, consider a special meditative Advent retreat in Wisconsin for one night. The program will run November 30 - December 1 and will be led by Pam Coster and Colleen Ambrose.

Please scroll down to learn more about all these events and other ongoing activities offered to all the ladies of the parish.

All Souls' Day Remembrance Service

Wednesday, November 2nd @ 7pm

A Candle Remembrance Service will be celebrated the evening of November 2nd in the church. This has been a lovely tradition of honoring and praying for our recently deceased loved ones on All Souls' Day. It is also a way to show those who are grieving that our parish community shares in their loss. All are welcome.

For questions, contact the parish office at 847.446.7646 or parishoffice@faithhope.org.

October Recap!

The Women's Guild had a busy October! Coffee and Conversation kicked off its season with special guest speaker Dr. MaryClare Birmingham, Executive Director of Kolbe House Jail Ministry. Several weeks later, women gathered in the Parish Center kitchen to make soup for Souper Heroes, a program to help feed the Homeless in Chicago. And wrapping up the month, Sip, Shop and Support was held in the Parish Center on October 26, drawing over 100 women with a variety of vendors. Truly a little something for everyone! A big thank you to all the ladies who worked hard to make these events happen!
