Angela Ford originates from Nova Scotia…Canada’s Ocean Playground!
Now residing in Ontario, Angela works in Finance – numbers by day – words by night. So what’s the obsession? Some say it’s another way to raise self-esteem in young women. Some say it’s a threat to what has been accomplished to promote our inner beauty.
We live in a social media world. We post, comment and share who we are and what were up to on a daily basis. As with anything in our tech savvy world if it’s used wisely and safely--it can be a good thing. We don't need to be all-dolled up or some famous celebrity. We can just be ourselves. So if we use it positively and safely...
Internet safety is always important. I write about it in my Closure FBI Romantic Suspense series and also dedicated community service to Cyber Safety seminars.
With the importance of raising self-esteem and boosting confidence for inner beauty; I just released a modern day Cinderella story called Spellbound Cinderella. Tess wishes on a magical pendant to be that perfect girl. She wakes in her 'Cinderella Body' and has only to midnight to make the most of it. A boost of confidence helps her realize her own inner beauty.

Joanne was born and raised in Sherburne, New York, a quaint village surrounded by dairy farms and rolling hills.

I was born and raised in Chicago.
My father was a history professor and my mother was, and is, a voracious reader. I grew up with a love of history and books.
My parents also love traveling, a passion they passed onto me. I wanted to see the places I read about, see the land and monuments from the time periods that fascinated me. I’ve had the good fortune to travel extensively throughout Europe, the Near East, and North Africa.
I am a retired police detective. I spent twenty-five years in law enforcement with two different agencies. My desire to write came in my early teens. After I retired, I decided to pursue that dream. I write three different series. My paranormal romance series is called, Knights in Time. My romantic thriller series is Dangerous Waters. The newest is The Bloodstone Series. Each series has a different setting and some cross time periods, which I find fun to write.
I currently live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband and five wild and crazy rescue dogs.
