It takes a little over a year for a book to come about.

The timeline goes like this
* Propose idea
* sketch all the quilts
* Lay out all the type of information I want to share
* make the quilts
* write the directions and the patterns. For a teaching book that has photos, I have to make those step by step projects for photography
* send book to my wonderful publisher Martingale
* they do all their magic and we review and repeat
* book is signed off and goes to print!
* we wait... wait...wait...
* BOOK ARRIVES!

I am absoulety crazy about this box. Not just bcause it's the 'right' kind of taffy (chewy) but I'm also in love with the box it's in! These colors the images, everything about it!

Right now it is sitting on my work table because it makes me very happy to look at it. As I was pulling out paper to do some sketching, I decided it would be JUST PERFECT to have a taffy with my coffee.

Life is good
