JoAnna Mendl Shaw is one busy lady!
She is the artistic director and choreographer of two distinct dance companies: Equus, and Onsite

JoAnna and her company are performing today at lunchtime on Wall Street - if you are in NYC - stop by and watch this free performance.

I am exited about my upcoming collaboration with JoAnna and her dancers in which we explore the parallels of the creative experience. Equus and OnSite are both companies that build of techniques, interpersonal expression, known relative to unknown spacial boundaries and ultimately the effects beyond what the creators intended.

Each of these concepts come into play when I design a menu beginning with learned techniques of heat, acid, knife skills - building on that with seasonality, thematics, cultural experiences and my own perspective on ingredients - the final touches, and decision making about any dish must be made with the eater in mind.
