Brian Scott gets the support of his daughter Jordan to complete the race! PC: John Andres

Sunday January 15th @ 1:00 pm

Skiers challenge themselves in this fun and crazy event outside of the Raven Lodge. We are emphasizing fun and participation. Hence goodie bags for all participants!

Teams of 2 (or more) skiers, any age, and all ability levels will enjoy this obstacle course. If you don’t have a team we can help you find one. Everyone on the team needs to finish together.

Why is it called a toonie event? …. Because it costs a toonie to enter.
Sign up at the top of the Lodge stairs from noon until 12:50pm

Event starts at 1:00 outside the Raven Lodge

For further information, please contact John Andres, 250-923-1861, Director of Fun.

Small Committee for Event Planning

Your Race Committee hard at work! PC: Patricia Johnson

On March 4 & 5 our club (SNSC) will host the Coast Cup # 4 & 5 (Interval start on Saturday and Team sprint ski cross on Sunday). Our club race committee is busy planning the competition side of the event but we need help from our parent group to help organise:

1. some post race snacks
2. a social event of some type after the races on Saturday afternoon March 4. This is an invitational race and we expect families from the mainland coast clubs to come, so we would like to create a memorable buzz and provide some great island hospitality to our participants and visiting clubs alike.

We’d like to put this task out to our parent group to organise something. This could range from a post race social at VIMSS to a modest potluck banquet or something completely different. We are looking for a small inspired group to take this on. If you are interested please contact Lynn Swift
