But, where the heck is the HIP JOINT anyways?
Buried deep in the body, discovering the hip joint in our sensory awareness can take some exploring. The hip joint is strong and amazingly flexible, it can bear a lot of weight and allows for a wide range of movement.

The PELVIS is literally at the center of our movement; connecting the upper and lower halves of our body and translating our movement up and down through the spine. Improve the use and organization of your pelvis and you will improve the use and organization of your whole self!

Come GET TO KNOW YOUR PELVIS & HIP JOINTS and learn to make better use of this dynamic duo!

Using Mindful, Comfortable Movement To Create Change

Our 'no pain no gain' enculturation is deep, but many are discovering its limits and casualties.

We are so used to efforting our way through things, that when we're not straining, we can actually feel like we're not doing anything! By learning to back off, slow down and do less, the Feldenkrais® approach helps you to creates a mindful space where you can discover new possibilities and make room for the movements of your body to re-organize in the sensorimotor cortex of your brain.

In Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement® classes, using body based mindfulness techniques, you learn to track and be guided by your own sensations, and do restorative and therapeutic work with yourself within your comfort zone!
