We are also taking bookings and deposits for the 2016 season already!

We have been very busy at the lakes during the closed season, and this newsletter is to keep you up to date with what we've been doing.

Firstly, and probably most importantly we have converted the Cabin on lake Vert into a shower room. This means that all Fly & Survive and Drive & survive clients no longer need to leave the lakes for a wash. There's a shower, basin and toilet all fed naturally from our own spring. We are both very proud of this new development and hope that you guys will like it too.

At the end of March we came back to the UK for a weekend for the Catfish Conservation Groups AGM. Being there official sponsors we take pride in attending the AGM and have a really good time. It was really great to see some familiar faces and put faces to names of people that have booked for this season. Loads of people showed interest in our holidays and were even more keen when they realised the discount they can get for being a CCG member.

During the winter months Nick has been feeding up the Carp in Lake Rouge and we're pleased to say that it has paid off. Local fishermen David and Jerome have fished Rouge several weekends in the closed season and had some outstanding fish out including in a new record for Rouge with this stunning 43lbs Common!! What a catch!!

Billy and Jim also fished several weekends during the closed season with some fabulous results. Thanks again to them both for all their help with the changeovers every Saturday. We couldn't do it without them!

On to the start of the season. First out this year were the Tomlinson's and Reilly's. The sun was shining all week and they had a great weeks fishing, including Michelle's first ever Catfish weighing in at 69lbs. At the same time her husband Mark had a 79lbs out. They caught lots of Carp throughout the week including a staggering 39.9lbs Common for Mark right on the last day.

The following week Barry & Chris joined us again on Lake Bleu for a weeks Fly & Survive. They had a great week enjoying both the surrounds' and the fishing as well as the local amenities. Both had loads of Carp and Cats out including two at 98lbs and a total of 84 catches. We look forward to seeing them both again next year!

What a great start to the season. Long may it continue. See you next month.
