What Our Booksellers are Reading

Something a bit different to start with this week. The BBC are filming a documentary and need parents with children aged 3-5 who would be willing to be filmed responding to authors reading some of their stories. Below is a letter from the producer Bella with more details. Please get in touch this week if you would like to be involved, the deadline is Friday 17th April.

Boundless

Hi there,

My name is Bella and I am an Assistant Producer working for a TV production company called Boundless.

I am working a popular BBC One business documentary series. The particular episode I am working on focuses on children’s books and we are looking to film with a group of three to five-year olds and their parents.

The group will be asked about children’s books and will help in a group of people’s research in creating their own book.

This will all be filmed for BBC One, so we are looking for people who are happy to be on camera and speak up with their thoughts and opinions.

The filming date is Tuesday 12th May and the time of the filming is 11.45am-1.15pm. The exact time is slightly TBC, but it should be somewhere within or close to this timeframe.

Dulwich Books have been extremely helpful in trying to organise this and between us we’d love to get a group together of around 8.

I am contactable on bella.lloyd@boundlessproductions.tv , or if you have any questions or concerns, you can call me on 0207 691 6575.

I am trying to get names in place as soon as possible as there will be some paperwork to do because of the strict guidelines around filming with under 18s. Please get in touch or inform Dulwich Books at your earliest convenience if you are keen.

Thanks so much,

Bella
