The Un-Coached Runner

Most runners are un-coached. We go for a run, or a jog. Some miles. Some days. We decide to run a race. The result? That race was not so easy, or fun! Is this what running is all about?

We begin to think . . . . how long should a "long" run be? How many days a week should I run? Should I cross-train? And what is that, really?

And wait -- how fast should I run each day?
And I want to run ?? minutes in a 5k, so how do I train to do THAT?
And -- I want to run a marathon, that Boston thing.
Can I finish it?
How should I train for it?
How many months?
How many miles?
And wait, I'll be away for this week and that week, don't think I can run then, so what about my training for (say it) Boston?
Maybe I'll just join a "group" and I guess that's enough. I'll be ok with that, perhaps.

OR. You could be the coached runner.

Here's how it works.
This is PERSONAL coaching. It is not coaching from a book or a program from the Internet.
This is coaching that is based on YOUR ability, YOUR time to train, and YOUR goal. It accommodates YOUR life's obligations.
And it is a program that is updated and communicated by Coach Braz each week based on YOUR feedback on how it's going, and that includes your runs and your "life events" (trips, family events, illness, injury, change of goal). Adjustments can be done within 24 hours.

It's this simple.

1. Register for the coaching program at this link.
2. After we receive your registration, Coach Braz will ask for some information before starting your program. He'll ask how many days you can train, which days are best for long runs, and so on.

2. After we receive your registration, Coach Braz will ask for some information before starting your program. He'll ask how many days you can train, which days are best for long runs, and so on.

After he has enough information, he will send you your first week's schedule of training.

And here's the most important thing about a personal coaching program -- your job is not only to do the work BUT ALSO give your coach feedback on how it's going, what's working, what may not be.

Is this expensive? It's $90 for one month and $180 for two months. If you pay for 3 or more months at once, the fee drops a bit --
$240 for 3 months, $320 for 4 months, $375 for 5 months, and $420 for 6 months.
Is this expensive? How much does a pair of sneakers cost? So much that we have to call them Running Shoes.
