College Conferences & Self Assessments

Hello, Class of 2022 Parents,

As we prepare to conclude the school year, the counseling department would like to remind parents and students to schedule their College Conferences. Prior to scheduling your College Conference or obtaining a letter of recommendation, all rising seniors are required to submit their Class of 2022 Self Assessment. The Self Assessment plays an integral role in your school counselor’s ability to prepare for your College Conference and write your letter of recommendation. Parents, we also recommend you complete the Parent Recommendation in Naviance to provide additional context about your family’s postsecondary plans for your student.

To complete your Class of 2022 Self Assessment or Parent Recommendation, follow the steps below:

▪ Log-in student and/or parent Naviance Account (click here)
▪ In the top right-hand corner, click on “About Me”
▪ “My Surveys”

Mental Health Resources

With finals right around the corner, it is natural for our students to experience testing anxiety. Some things you can do to help your student cope if they are experiencing anxiety are help them plan their time appropriately, so they do not find themselves cramming the night before for anyone exam, encourage them to get plenty of rest in the upcoming weeks, and to make sure they are eating well and getting some exercise.

For more tips and help surrounding testing anxiety, please check out this resource.
