The Urban Core Bike Ride

Nimitz Path to be Repaved end of 2022

HBL worked with HDOT to get the south section of the Nimitz Path repaved. We created an online petition and form letter that outlines the issues with the path and the need to repave it. Mahalo for sending those emails!

New Posts Added to Pensacola St

HBL has been advocating to replace these posts with the newer style that are more sturdy. Thanks for filling out our online petition and form letter that outlines the issues with the lane and the importance of fixing it! Due to these efforts, 42 posts from S King to Wilder were replaced.

HBL Media Coverage

HBL was recently featured in two different YouTube series.

The first is a new series called “The Two Wheel Revolution” by Peter Rosegg on ThinkTech Hawaii. We Discuss all things bikes and micromobility, as well as what’s happening at HBL.

The second is a channel called "Shifter", where host Tom Babin discusses cycling infrastructure and culture in the cities he visits. He recently visited Honolulu and Travis took him for a tour. Honolulu ranks 81st out of 85 cities by PeopleForBikes and Tom explored if that was justified.
