Third time’s the charm – and the Nogojiwanong Indigenous Fringe Festival is back in June of 2023 for its third outing!

Once again NIFF will bring uncurated, land-based, Indigenous performances to indoor and outdoor locations for five days from June 21-25, 2023. All are welcome!

Performers for the festival were chosen, as per Fringe tradition, by lottery.

There are plays:
- Centre for Indigenous Theatre (Toronto) with “The Bridge” by Pesch Nepoose
- Minjimendan (North Bay) with “Estrange(ment)”
- Juicebox (Winnipeg) with “An Indigenous Play”
- The Cave (Toronto) with “The Cave that Hummed a Song”
- Nenookaasi (Toronto) with “Nenookaasi's: Mind of a Messenger”

There is dance:
- Kelli Marshall/Liz Osawamick (Peterborough) with “Reclaiming in Motion”
- Maison Mere Artists (Burundi) with “Abatimbo”

And there is music with a returning NIFF favourite
- Tiger Will Mason (Ottawa) with “Songs and Stories of a Modern Mohawk Continued”

The festival will ceremonially open on Indigenous Peoples Day, June 21, 2023. Performances will take place from June 21-25. Performances are on the East Bank of the Trent University campus, in and around Enwayaang/Gzowski College. Ticket information will be available in April.
