Tonight (Tuesday, September 30th) we discover Oregon's multiple appellations such as Willamette Valley and Walla Walla that make Oregon's Pinot Noir's, Pinot Gris', and other vinifera amongst the finest produced in the United States. There are a lot of wines to taste tonight - you don't want to miss this one!

Classes are held at 1249 Wine Bar, located at 1249 West Main Street in Waterbury, CT on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:00pm. We taste wines from each region and enjoy passed hors d'oeuvres. Professor Nelson Veiga, Maitre Sommelier Diplome and Waterbury native, attended and graduated from the Hotel Management University in Lausanne, Switzerland. After an extensive field study of wine, he became a professor and taught for 16 years at the School of Hospitality Management in Miami.
