I think I sneezed during the second week in November and all of a sudden it's January 2nd. Wow! That was FAST!

I had a great time between that sneeze and now, I just didn't get everything on my to-do list to-done. And that's OK, I did other stuff. And it was wonderful!

Baby Einstein Jumper - Copy

My Other Stuff

Zoey is now 11 weeks old and approaching 9 pounds. She is perfect in every way.

Grandma and Grandpa got her a Baby Einstein Jumper. She's still way too little for it, but she looks like she's going to love it when she gets a little bigger. Do they make these for adults? I think I want one.

Website Improvements

I've been working behind the scenes to improve my website. After many long hours it is now possible for the shopping cart to calculate shipping based on where you live and how much your order weighs! (At least in the US. I'll start working on Canada next. Overseas orders should email me and we can go from there.)

When you check out, type in your state and hit "apply." Then you will see exactly how much (or how little) shipping will be before you have to type in your credit card information or your whole address.

Pay Pal?

I'm trying to figure out if adding a PayPal option to my website would be a good thing. Hit reply and let me know what you think. You would always be able to use credit cards on the site. PayPal would just be another option.

Show of hands please? Are you more or less likely to purchase from a site that offers PayPal? Or doesn't it matter?

Those of you who have been patiently waiting for your NeckLites are in luck. They will be shipped to me any day and in my hot little hands pretty quick after that.

I did order some extra for anyone who didn't get in on the fun yet. You can order yours here.

More Covered Tape Measures

I've made some new ones if you want to treat yourself or a friend to a special gift. I have one of each shown on the website, so if someone beats you to the one you want, hang on and I'll make one just for you. Or, design your own and tell me what colors you want!

String Star Online Class - Last Chance

Lessons start arriving on January 5, but there is still time to sign up for an online class with me. Learn how to use a "Pull" fabric to pick colors for a quilt, how to make fabric tubes and slice them into finished blocks, and lots more. Click here for more information.

10 Things You Can't Recycle

I am so bummed. I've been doing this wrong for years! OK, so I knew you couldn't put pizza boxes in the recycle bin. Styrofoam and newspapers weren't allowed either. But plastic screw tops to water bottles? I've actually taken them out of the garbage and screwed them back on the water bottle to recycle. Rats! Check out the complete list of "Does" and "Don'ts" here. Wait until you see the part about colored paper.

I promise to do better in 2015. And I know water bottles are bad for the environment and are probably just as bad for me. Like I said, I promise to to better in 2015.

From Under The Desk

Scooter here. I have been trying to explain to Mom that I have certain genetically mandated jobs. One of them is chasing balls. Another is barking at the mail truck. There are more.

This video explains the mail truck thing pretty well. Mom laughed a lot and made me play it for her twice. People are so cute.

Are You Who I think You Are?

Thank you for reading all the way to the end! But don't go yet!

Please check that I've addressed you by name way up at the top of this newsletter. If I didn't (and there's a big blank space) or I addressed you by name, but it wasn't your name, please scroll down a little bit further and click on the word "PREFERENCES" so you can type in the name by which you would like me to address you.

I wish you all the best for 2015. Let's make it the best year ever!
