On these crisp fall days, one can sense a change in the air. In legal technology as well, I'm sensing a faster rate of change and positive growth, especially in education efforts, outreach and richer connections between attorneys, legal services professionals, law schools and even the courts. These dots connected in my mind:
* Relativity Fest, with its focus on education, included voices from every aspect of the industry;
* James Sandman encouraged everyone in the industry to reach across the divides to improve Pro Bono and public service efforts in law;
* Bob Ambrogi enlightened us with a blog post on a new index that measures law schools on innovation and technology programs;
* E-Discovery Day is just around the corner - a celebration of legal technology, drawing participation from all corners of the industry with an inclusive, cooperative and fun tone.
To borrow a phrase from F. Scott Fitzgerald,
"Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall."
