• PRAY for fair weather for our special fellowship PICNIC on 4 June in Smithville, NJ at 1:00PM to give thanks for our fellowship as believers and for our shared mission here for Christ’s glory.
• Give THANKS for a glorious mission conference and Synod of our diocese, the Anglican Diocese of the Living Word. Believers were stabilized in the gospel and strengthened in their witness in a culture increasingly antagonistic to the Lord Jesus. PRAY for the two men ordained to gospel ministry and the vocational deacons to ministries of mercy, that they may have courage in the face of opposition.
• PRAY for the Banner of Truth Minister’s Conference 30 May – 1 June and the ordained officers who gather to consider its theme, “I am not ashamed of the gospel”. PRAY for our rector who is to deliver two of the addresses at the conference, that Christ may be glorified and his fellows strengthened.
• As our rector’s retirement is seven months away, please continue to PRAY for God’s guidance as our Vestry has completed its parish profile to widen the search for a part-time rector. PRAY that trusted websites may add our petition for a new rector who will care for the congregation.
