Hats is very excited to be presenting for the first time in Auburn Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas (USA)
A magic duo on tour throughout Australia Alasdair Fraser, long regarded as Scotland’s premier fiddle ambassador, and the highly talented young Californian cellist Natalie Haas. Vincents Chair

Vincents Chair

“Vincent's Chair are the real deal – wonderful musicians playing all-original, beautifully crafted songs” InDaily, Adelaide
Vincent's Chair is an Australian contemporary acoustic group founded by singer-songwriter, Kathie Renner.
The songs, by Renner – who cites Sting, Joni Mitchell and Paul Simon as her influences – have an eclectic sound that crosses all musical boundaries, and articulate enigmatic story-telling with a focus on honest musicianship. “It's all about the songs,” says Kathie. “I'm interested in all kinds of music, and as a composer I like to explore all the options; much like a painter has a palette of colours to choose from and a range of medium to paint in. The subject matter determines the style I write in. This is why you will hear plaintive folk songs, sophisticated jazz tunes, pop songs and latin-flavoured sounds in a Vincent's Chair set. 2014 was an exciting year which saw the release of their latest CD, “The New Vibe” at the renowned Adelaide Festival Centre. Then it was a busy year of showcasing the CD, culminating in a tour of Europe and the UK. This is a tradition they have continued for the past four years. To date they have toured Europe five times and released four cds. 2015 sees Vincent's Chair performing at the Hats Auburn Courthouse catch them on
