I first "met" KariAnne years ago when I first started TCB. Her and her sister Kijsa had a blog called Kari & Kijsa. That blog knocked my socks off! _
They had the best ideas and were both SO talented. Then they shut their blog down. _
Fast Forward to SNAP, when I got to meet KariAnne in person and she knocked my socks off again when she told me that SHE was the Kari from Kari & Kijsa. I love surprises like that!!

Meet KariAnne from Thistlewood Farms

Me: Why did you choose to start a blog? And what do you hope people learn and take away from visiting your site?

KariAnne: _I started the blog because there were stories that I wanted to write down for my children so one day I could remind them what an amazing mother I am. _
Oh....and I had a few yard sale projects to share, too. :)

Me: If you had to choose a paint color to live with the rest of your life, what would it be?

KariAnne: The color that I would wrap myself in and paint the town gray with is Sherwin-Williams Mindful Gray.

Me: What would you consider your biggest decorating secret or strength?

KariAnne: I love finding a home for something that no one else wanted. Re-working something that someone was going to throw away or discard or get rid of.

Me: How did you choose your blog name?

KariAnne: Oh....that's easy! My last name is Wood and when we purchased the house it was covered with thistles. :)

Me: PC or Mac?

KariAnne: PC

Me: If you suddenly had a full weekend to yourself, what would you do?

KariAnne: I would re-paint a room.
Is that the wrong answer?
Was I supposed to say curl up on the sofa with a really good book?

Me: If you had a 5 minute shopping spree at your favorite craft store, what products would you grab first?

KariAnne: burlap ribbon, ribbon in general, paint, scrapbook paper and glitter

Me: If you had a 5 minute shopping spree at Home Goods, Pottery Barn, etc... What would you grab first?

KariAnne: lamps, lamps and more lamps.

Me: You're having a party.....what appetizers would you serve?

KariAnne: I would bring chips and dip.....I'm not a very good cook

Me: Night owl, or early bird?

KariAnne: Night owl.

Me: What is your favorite room in your home and why?

KariAnne: I love to sit in the library with a cup of hot tea and a really good book.....after I change the paint color on the walls.

Me: Before blogging, what did you do?

KariAnne: I was a sales manager for a hotel chain.

Me: Do you ever think about giving up blogging?

KariAnne: Never and always.

Me: What's one thing you don't think your readers know about you?

KariAnne: I have triangle nostrils.

Me: What's one of your favorite blog posts?

KariAnne: I think my favorite posts are all about the story. I love to tell stories on my blog and here are some of my favorites:
