THE DULWICH DISPATCHES!

DD 1

Delighted to say the Dulwich Dispatches are now open for (limited) business!

To allow people to get a feel for what we are going to be doing once we launch full packages in September, we are offering you a chance to sign up for a one off month subscription, any time in July. We will ask you to fill out a few questions on the sort of books you are looking for, and then we will select you something we think you might like! This will be sent directly to your home (or office, or any other useful address).

Our hope is that these will make great gifts for the readers in your life, or will allow you to find some amazing books for yourself that you might not have thought of.

The July Summer Reading Month will be £6 for a child's book (under 16s), or £8 for an adult title. To sign up, or find out more information about what we will be offering in September, visit our website here!

Meet The Authors: Picador, Proofs and Pizza

You might remember a little while ago I introduced to you the idea of a Meet The Author party.

Well, we are delighted to announce that our first party is confirmed and we would like to invite you along! It will be held in the shop on Thursday 2nd October at 7pm.

We are teaming up with Picador, who have recently brought us such favourites as Burial Rites, Shotgun Lovesongs, Mrs Hemingway, and the works of James Salter. They will be bringing three new authors to us, Jessie Burton of The Miniaturist, Rebecca Wait of The View On The Way Down, and Emily St. John Mandel who is being published in the UK for the first time with Station Eleven.

Tickets are £10, there will be pizza from Franco Manca, wine and nibbles, and lots of free books courtesy of Picador for you to take home.

Places are limited, so I suggest booking asap if you want to come along.
