CG NEWS & EVENTS

Garden News

This Sunday is the final Garden class before summer break. Jen Lynch will lead this lesson that reminds us that God needs us to be good examples. Kids, bring your Bibles!

Crochet Class

A big thank you to Jessica Deeter for a truly wonderful crochet class! We will definitely be doing this again, as all the participants had a great time and felt they learned something new.

"Springing Into Summer" Potluck

Last Sunday's celebration of the season was full of fun, friends, and fabulous food. Once again, our CG cooks showed their talents by providing many delicious treats! It is always a blessing to be able to gather in fellowship as a church family and to take time to visit with friends both old and new.

Bible Studies

Sunday Morning: Pat Shannon leads a class on the book of Matthew; 9:30 - 10:30am.

Wednesday Morning: Ladies Study - Dwelling in God's Peace from the Jesus Calling Bible Study Series by Sarah Young; 9am.

Friday Evening: Bible Study at the Shannon's house; 6pm.

You are welcome to join in a study at any time!

Youth Group News

We had a great time last week on our trip to Columbiana. We hid our painted rocks for others to find, after we took some time to pray for the people who will be finding them. Then we celebrated the end of the school year with a trip to Orange Leaf for frozen yogurt, followed by fun and games outside at Firestone Farms. Regular Youth Group will resume in the fall, but we will still get together throughout the summer. Events will be scheduled soon, including our usual trip to the Snyder's for swimming and s'mores!

For I was hungry and you gave me food;
I was thirsty and you gave me a drink;
I was a stranger and you took me in;
I was naked and you clothed me;
I was sick and you visited me.
I was in prison and you came to me.

.....When you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,
you were doing it to me.
