Annual Congregational Meeting ~ February 10, 12:15pm

Everyone is invited to stay after Worship to join in our yearly meeting to discuss our church home. Annual Reports for 2018 will be reviewed, and Session will share information on happenings at Common Ground. This is the perfect time to ask questions, share ideas, and spend some time thinking about who we are and where we are going. Nominations to Session will be heard from the floor, so be thinking about folks you picture serving in this way. If YOU are interested in serving, speak to any member of Session.

Sip & Paint ~ February 1, 7pm

Adults, don't miss this chance to try out your artistic side! We will sip on coffee, cocoa, or tea while getting creative. Light snacks, like cookies and chips, will also be provided. Feel free to bring a snack to share, if desired. Invite a friend to join us in this new CG experience, led by Adam Pratt. In order to cover the cost of the supplies, there is a fee of $15, due on of before February 1st. Please sign up on the bulletin board by this Sunday, January 27th!

Outreach Potluck Soup Luncheon ~ February 3

Stay after Worship to enjoy lunch and fellowship as we say a big thank you to Adam Shank (and his family!) for spending so much time with us over the past year. We'll provide tomato soup, bread, salad, and drinks. Please sign up this Sunday to bring a pot of soup and/or a dessert.

Souper Bowl of Caring ~ February 3

The first Sunday in February is Super Bowl Sunday, and more importantly, it is the SOUPER BOWL OF CARING! Our youth will join youth all across the country in collecting money to donate to local food banks to help people in the community who are dealing with food insecurity. So, as you plan for our soup luncheon to thank the Shank family, give some thought to helping us fill our soup pot with donations to help others!

Ladies Valentine Tea ~ February 9, 1-3pm

Mark your calendars for our annual tea party! Ladies of all ages invited to bring your favorite teatime treat to share. Invite a friend to join the fun. Sign up sheet on the bulletin board.

Winter at GG

We experienced some closings and delays this week due to the winter weather, but we still got in plenty of fun and work! We shoveled snow (and built a snowman), emptied buckets in the warehouse, made jam, cooked, and more. Next week, we visit Whispering Pines, so keep your fingers crossed that the weather cooperates.

Ongoing Outreach/Mission Opportunity
Drop items off in the collection barrel or take them up to the Green Room, anytime throughout the year! Let your friends and family know that we accept donations year-round.

For I was hungry and you gave me food;
I was thirsty and you gave me a drink;
I was a stranger and you took me in;
I was naked and you clothed me;
I was sick and you visited me.
I was in prison and you came to me.

.....When you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,
you were doing it to me.

Matthew 25: 35-36, 40
