TFA and TFA Cymru Respond to Tenancy Reform Consultations
Following 12 weeks of discussions, responses have been submitted to the DEFRA and Welsh Government tenancy reform consultations by TFA and TFA Cymru. The responses can be read in full by clicking here for England and clicking here for Wales. This is only the beginning of the process – both TFA and TFA Cymru will be active through the rest of the year in pushing the agenda on these issues in both London and Cardiff.
Cornwall County Council Seeks Further Views on Its Farm Strategy
Following last year's review and inquiry into the future of the Cornwall County Council smallholdings estate, it has now unveiled a new draft strategy intended to deliver a more sustainable future for farmers, residents and the environment. Covering just short of 11,000 acres, it is one of the largest County Farms estates in the country. Views are being sought on the draft strategy and more information can be obtained by clicking here.

Farm Tenancy Legislation Changes and What They Could Mean To You - Free Seminar at the Great Yorkshire Show

Date Change for Meeting the RPA at the GYS
Due to circumstances outside the control of the TFA, the planned meeting with the RPA at the Great Yorkshire Show on Wednesday 10 July, has now been rescheduled tor Tuesday 09 July.
There are still places left for members who would like to put their questions to Paul Caldwell, RPA Chief Executive, on matters relating to the Basic Payment Scheme, Countryside Stewardship, Environmental Stewardship or the shape of future arrangements.
