The Fox is filled to the brim with cool and cultural events all weekend to help you seize the the last days of Summer. Tonight is all about dancing! We're not only throwing the city's biggest monthly soul night (The World Famous Motown Party) but we're hosting an evening of cool contemporary dance and film as part of the Cascadia Dance Festival. Tomorrow night, we're hosting a video release party by the best looking band in the city, ACTORS followed by our monthly all indie classic edition of LOVE:SATURDAYS. All in all, it's a great weekend to come and have some fun with us!

The Fox and Good Kids present the world-famous dance party that’s the toast of New York, London, and Paris. Shimmy to old favourites and rare grooves from Stevie Wonder, The Supremes, Jackson 5, Marvin Gaye, and much more. The Motown Party showcases the best and brightest music from the Motown, Northern Soul, Stax and Tamla labels, played by some of each city’s best DJs Trevor Risk (Ice Cream Social/HEAVEN), and Nick Bike (RedBull 3style Champion), and DJ Flipout (Virgin Radio). Plus, Niña Mendoza presents Aftertouch Fridays in the Projection Room.

The Fox Cabaret is proud to be a part of the 1st annual city-wide Cascadia Dance and Cinema Festival, an event which grew out of a desire to connect those involved and interested in the arts and industries of dance and cinema. We'll be hosting a performance called "The Meeting of Machines" which explores how the human body and mind can creatively combine with technology, showcased through a dynamic evening of short dance films and live performances incorporating video.

Love: Saturdays presents Heaven, a monthly indie classics. Come bliss out to the greatest indie dance and pop music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Dance to the blissful sounds of….David Bowie, The Smiths, New Order, The Cure, Stone Roses, Blondie, Joy Division, Depeche Mode, Orange Juice, Belle & Sebastian, Happy Mondays, The Wake, Morrissey, The Strokes, Felt, Violent Femmes, Pulp, Pixies + more.
