Letter from the PTO President
Dear Cougar Community,
As we wind down our school year, I wanted to take a moment to thank all of our parents, teachers, and volunteers for everything you did this year. Because of you, we were able to make the 2014-2015 one of the best years in memory. Your efforts have given us fun filled events such as the 50th Anniversary Celebration, our Bingo nights and many others. These events helped to positively shape our children’s educational experience and solidify our Cougar Community.
A big thank you to our community for our fundraising efforts. With this year’s strong participation in events such as the APEX Fun run and our Book Fairs, we were able to support the educational enrichment of our children with programs such as the AR Reading programs, Scholarship programs, as well as before and after school clubs and activities. Your efforts have gone directly back to classrooms by helping teachers buy materials for their classes. Support of our Book Fairs this year allowed us to contribute over $5,000 in new books to the library. Your contributions have made a difference in supporting our teachers and staff so that they are able to give our children a top notch education.
As you reflect back on the year, please know that you made a difference and you were a big part in making 2014-2015 a great and memorable year. I look forward to working with the Cougar Community to make 2015-2016 another unforgettable year. I thank each and every one of you for everything that you did this year. Without you, none of these things would be possible. You should be proud to know that you made a huge difference in your child’s education this year.
