Hello!

It's just me, Jamie of hands on : as we grow, a mom of three boys.

That's my founding knowledge behind hands on : as we grow - That's it. My experience as a mom.

I don't have a degree in education. I am not an early childhood expert.

And I don't want to be an expert. At least not that kind of expert.

I just want to be a hands on mom.

A mom that loves doing hands on activities with my boys. [Even if I struggle with it from time to time.]

It also turns out that I love sharing those activities, too.

Since I don't have any official expertise to back up anything I say; behind the way we learn, or why I do any of the activities we do...

...I try my best to keep it real instead.

Whether it works or it doesn't. What I would have done differently. What I have learned since.

But that's the only experience I have right now. Just by doing what we're doing, and only doing that with my own kids. Which happen to be three boys [so you may occasionally see what seems like gender profiling, but really its just me being a mom of three boys. Girls are fully capable of loving the same stuff my boys do.]

I'm learning too.
