We have a school fundraising campaign coming up! We are really hoping to reach the goal of $15,000 by May 7th (which is $20/student at Mills).
There will be school-wide prizes for all students throughout the week. Each donor's name will also be put in a drawing to win amazing prizes.
Staff Appreciation Week: May 3rd- 7th
Staff Appreciation Week is rapidly approaching! We will celebrate each of our 90 (amazing) Mills staff members during the week of May 3rd through May 7th, and we need your help! As you can imagine, it is quite the feat to provide breakfast, lunch and snacks for 90 people throughout the week. This, combined with the fact that our PTA budget is smaller than usual due to COVID, means we need a few extra funds to ensure a spectacular week for our staff. If you're able, please consider donating funds to cover the cost of lunch on Wednesday, May 5th, for our staff. You can Venmo Alicia Henderson, our Staff Appreciation Chair, at alicia-henderson-12. Any funds leftover after lunch is purchased will be used for a last day of school staff gift and/or rolled over into next year's PTA funds for Staff Appreciation.
Wonder what's happening that week? Please see the attached schedule for the week. The only day you'll need to bring anything for your child's teacher or other staff member is on Thursday, May 6th, when we're spoiling everyone with flowers and cards. All other days will be taken care of by the PTA; however, you're always welcome to supplement with whatever treats you think your favorite Mills staff would enjoy!
