A Wonderful Free Play for Teens and Parents

The Diviners – A moving play about a small town with big issues

· February 17 and 18 at 7:00 p.m. and February 19 at 2:00 p.m.
· Forsyth Country Day School auditorium

Set during the Great Depression, The Diviners takes place in the fictional town of Zion, Indiana. It’s a “memory play,” beginning and ending with elegies spoken by townspeople describing what happened the day of the town’s greatest tragedy.

Despite the play’s serious topics, it has many lighthearted and laugh-out-loud moments. Rated PG-13 for mild language and mature themes. Free and open to the public!

Summer at Dance Project

Spend your summer with the Dance Project, where dance is serious fun! Dance Project’s summer schedule in the Greensboro Cultural Center includes full and half-day camps, classes for children ages 18 months and up, and drop-in classes for teens and adults. Campers can sample dance styles such as jazz, ballet, modern, and tap, and dance along to classic picture books like "Where the Wild Things Are." Dance Project also joins forces with the Drama Center and the Center for Visual Arts to give campers experience with every aspect of a theatrical production in the “Do a Play All the Way” camps. Find full descriptions, schedule, and registration on the Dance Project website at www.danceproject.org.
