Dump the Pump This Summer

Summer 2018 is a great time to “dump the pump” and give public transportation a try! Gas prices are already hovering around the $3 mark and are predicted to climb even higher. Try riding with us the season – whether it’s to work, summer classes or seasonal attractions.

Enjoy enhanced summer service on Route 67, which runs down Bellevue Avenue in Newport every 15-20 minutes. And don’t forget, the Beach Bus is back! For $2 each way, passengers can enjoy express weekend and holiday service to South County beaches from Woonsocket, Cranston, Central Falls, Pawtucket and North Providence.

Fourth of July Digital Boards

RIPTA OBSERVES FOURTH OF JULY HOLIDAY

RIPTA will run a Sunday/Holiday service schedule on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, in observance of the Fourth of July. The Sunday/Holiday schedule will apply to all regular fixed-route buses and trolleys. RIPTA Offices in Kennedy Plaza, RIde Reservation Office, and Flex Reservation Office will be closed on Wednesday in celebration of the holiday.

In addition, RIPTA will detour Route 60 (Providence/Newport) on Wednesday, July 4TH to accommodate the Bristol Fourth of July Parade.
