While a lack of a federal grant is cited for why the Transit Board was not able to secure funding for their intended purpose of the property, taxpayers should ask why the city would rather sell the property at a loss to a non-profit religiously-affiliated school than help another entity that already receives taxpayer dollars make their plan work?

The Bismarck City Commission oversees the Bis-Man Transit Authority,
Why was there not better communication and planning on all of this?
Why are taxpayers being asked to fund Bis-Man Transit more, while the City of Bismarck is being an obstacle to their own operations and long range plans?
These local government entities need to have better communications, and understand each others goals better.
And the Bismarck City Commission needs to put publicly funded services above private developers and grand schemes for downtown.
