Fall into Winter

Is it possible that Fall is already almost over!? Believe it or not, yes, it is. Winter is advancing upon us (as evidenced by the awesome winter weather weather we've been getting) and that means it's time to start planning our Winter workout routines so we can start the upcoming new year off right - for a Healthy & Fit life! To that end, we've done our best to add some new classes at popular times, as well as rescheduling other classes to better suit your busy schedules. And of course, they're all offered INDOORS so you can stay dry and warm while you workout during these cold winter months.

Here (below) is a schedule of our group exercise class offerings during the upcoming Winter '15 academic term. This Winter schedule begins on Friday, January 2nd, and ends on Thursday, March 26th. There will be a number of exceptions to this schedule during the winter due to holidays and facility closures, so please make note of the key dates listed beneath the schedule, and always refer to our Google Calendar for the most accurate and up-to-date listing of class offerings.

Last-minute schedule changes are always a possibility, so please always refer to Group Exercise Calendar on the front page of our website (fitlife.ucsc.edu) before leaving for your class.

Schedule Exceptions:

Due to campus closures, OPERS facility closures, and/or OPERS facility reduced-hours on some winter dates, classes will not be offered on the following dates and times:

Fri, 1/2: No pre-11a or post-2p classes (Reduced Hours)
Sat-Sun, 1/3-4: No OPERS classes (OPERS CLOSED)
Mon, 1/19: No classes (Holiday - MLK Day)
Mon, 2/16: No classes (Holiday - President's Day)
Tue-Fri, 3/17-20: No pre-10a or post-6p OPERS classes (Reduced Hours)
Sat-Sun, 3/21-22: No OPERS classes (OPERS Closed)
Mon-Thu, 3/23-26: No pre-11a or post-2p OPERS classes (Reduced Hour)
Fri, 3/27: NO classes (Holiday - Cesar Chavez Day)
Sat-Sun, 3/27-28: NO OPERS classes (OPERS Closed)
