Asser researcher co-authors Guiding Principles on Shared Responsibility in International Law

Asser senior researcher Berenice Boutin was part of the Drafting Commmittee of the Guiding Principles of Shared Responsibility in International Law. The Guiding Principles identify the conditions, consequences, and implementation mechanisms of shared responsibility. Read more here.


[New publication]: The legality of economic activities in occupied territories

This month, Routledge publishing released a new volume titled The legality of economic activities in occupied territories, edited by Asser senior researchers Dr Antoine Duval and Dr Eva Kassoti. The book explores the topic from multiple perspectives, including international law, EU law, business and human rights. Read more here.

Top ranking journal: The Hague Journal on the Rule of Law

In 2019, the impact factor (reflecting the number of citations articles in a journal receive) of the Hague Journal on the Rule of Law (T.M.C. Asser Press, distributed by Springer-Verlag) increased from 0.9 in 2018 to 1.6 in 2019. The multidisciplinary journal now ranks 41 (out of 154 journals) in the Clarivate Analytics Journal Citation Reports.
