Bill C-230, MP Kelly Block's Protection of Freedom of Conscience Act will have 2nd reading vote tomorrow October 5th.
This is a good bill that will help strengthen physician conscience rights nationally.
The vote is expected to take place just after Question Period, around 3:15 pm ET.
The bill presents two Criminal Code amendments that would protect the conscience rights of physicians.
1 // It would become a criminal offence to intimidate any medical practitioner into engaging in Medical Aid in Dying (M.A.I.D.) against their will.
2 // It would become a criminal offence to fire or withhold hiring a medical practitioner based on their willingness to engage in M.A.I.D.

If the bill passes 2nd reading vote tomorrow, it will progress to committee. If it does not, it will die.
