Hey there!

It's Wednesday again and I'm back with another free crochet pattern for you!

Yes, I realize that it is still July, but, in keeping with my goal for this year to get patterns out in advance, I've decided to give you an Autumn themed afghan. I hope you don't mind. Goodness knows I'm not trying to rush summer, however I do have to keep an eye on upcoming seasons. And the last thing I want is for you not to have time to make things before that season is over.

So may I present...

Are you crocheting for cooler temperatures yet? Well, the Fall Foliage Afghan colors were inspired by the changing leaves of Autumn.

The only stitches you need to know are single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet. I love the staggered stripes of this stitch. I think it gives this blanket wonderful visual interest!

As always, I encourage you to customize my patterns to suit your own needs. Not really into fall colors? Go ahead and change it to the colors of your choice! Need a different size? Simply start with a foundation chain (starting chain) with a multiple of 4 plus 2. You can create any size blanket you wish. Don't like fringe? Omit it! Put your own border on or leave it plain. You want one exactly like the example? Awesome! Go for it!

Revel in your own creativity and crochet something you love!

Thank you for supporting my small business and I hope you enjoy this week's new pattern.

Until next week...

Keep making pretty things!
