Sarah has nominated Claire Holmes as her Wonder Woman of the Day.
Sarah says...
"In all the years I’ve known Claire Holmes she has been dedicated to making change for young people. For years she worked tirelessly on the Young Women’s Project at the Proud Trust and volunteered countless hours to improving the lives of LGBT young people.
She now runs Sidney Street Café on Oxford Street and helps grow some of the food served there at the community allotment that she set up with The Proud Trust. Come rain or shine she’ll be out there nurturing veg, working with young people or serving the people of Manchester amazing food.
She’s one of the most inspirational women I’ve ever met and I’m so proud to call her my friend!"
