Dear Women of the Guild,

Pumpkin lattes and trees dressed in autumn colors are signs that October has arrived. It also signals that summer is officially over with the promise of a calendar full of great Guild events.

(Important!) First Things First ...

Before we dive into all that's happening this fall, a big thank you to the team that put together last week's Membership Open House. It was a great time to catch up with new and familiar faces and a chance to join the guild!

For those who were unable to attend the party and still need to become a member for the 2023-24 season, grab your credit card or check book and CLICK HERE to join the Guild today.

An important FYI: Guild and board members have registration preference when signing up for the Advent Candlelight program. Members also receive discounted tickets for other events as well. PLEASE NOTE: In order to register as a Guild Member for Advent Candlelight, your membership must be purchased by Wednesday, October 25th.

And if you're interested in getting involved with the Guild's Board, whether it's helping behind the scenes or chairing an event, we'll help you find the right fit! Currently the board is looking for volunteers to fill the following positions: Incoming President, Spring Luncheon Chair, Service Chair, Reservations and Hospitality. COFFEE & CONVERSATION | OCTOBER 18TH

Join us on Wednesday, October 18th from 9:00 - 11:00 am in the Parish Center for beverages and breakfast bites before the presentation begins at 9:30 am. Three guest speakers will share their individual stories on hiking the Camino followed by Q & A with the audience.

FLOWER ARRANGING FOR OTHERS | OCTOBER 25TH

No floral arranging experience needed for this favorite event on Wednesday, October 25th from 12 noon to 2:00pm in the Parish Center and patio.

Only requirement: bring along one large or two bunches of flowers (and if you have the following: small vases, clippers, rafia/ribbon) and a desire to put a smile on someone's face!

ADVENT CANDLELIGHT REGISTRATION

The Advent Candlelight event which is Thursday, December 7th, takes place in the church followed by a social in the Parish Center. One can attend just the church program for a nominal fee or both segments either as a "Single attendee" or by table (high top which holds 6-8 people max) which has one assigned "Table Hostess" in charge of registering her table.

Due to the popularity of this event and limited high tops and seating for singles in the Parish Center, registration is required for all Table Hostesses and Singles with preference given to members of the Guild board and dues paying 2023-24 Guild Members (Guild Memberships must be purchased by October 25th to qualify).

Please note the following REGISTRATION DATES AND TIMES for both Singles and Table Hostesses (based on Guild membership status before October 25th) :

HOLIDAY SIP & SHOP | NOVEMBER 15

Get all your holiday gifts purchased at this year's Sip and Shop event on Wednesday, November 15th in the Parish Center from 6:00 - 9 pm. Your ticket provides a range of vendors to shop from and includes Babs Boards grazing table and wine along with great raffle prizes! Net proceeds will be donated to Misericordia.
