Hello ,

Greetings from Spain

Just had a few days in our house at Cala de Mijas over the new year, it's been a fine time to see old friends, think about the future and make plans.
There is never a bad time to make a plan, the trick is making stuff happen of course.

Last week I was encouraging you to make a plan. You can read it here.

I'm off to Bratislava shortly in Slovakia. One thing in our grand plan is a possible distribution depot at that side of Europe. The idea has been prompted by the Brexit issues because we sell a lot into Europe and need to protect that trade. It should be interesting and it certainly will be very cold - I'll update you next week :)
We have to do this because to just wait and see what happens, will be a recipe for disaster.

We all suffer from procrastination right? Well in varying degrees. Some people maybe don't and they are just impulsive and rash leaping from project to project, lover to lover, fad to fad. Some people I know are capable of being a procrastinator and an impulsive at the same time. We all have a mixture I guess. So a bit of procrastination is an OK thing. I think. But to do nothing because you can't make up your mind is just plain self-destructive and will be the undoing of you. Finding the right balance is the key.

Here's my take on it - for what it's worth.
1. Remember that it's often better to make a wrong decision than no decision - at least you are moving... and more options will appear later. Do nothing and nothing or (in the end) disaster will happen.
2. Share your plans with your (positive minded) friends, by talking about it you are moving towards action. Avoid negative people who will always see the downsides first.
3. Always keep plans honest, straightforward and with integrity. Dodgy/mean/sneaky dealing always undermines big ideas (and you and your team's commitment to them).
4. Make a small commitment. What I call a pull the plug moment. And do it now.

What is a "Pull the Plug" moment?
So there you are relaxing in a wonderful warm bath, with AW relaxing bath bombs fizzing between your toes, a glass of wine (free from AW), relaxing music and soy wax candles burning. There is no way you want to get up and go to work/shopping/start cooking.. any time soon. What to do?.. well it's the smallest thing. Wrap your big toe around the plug chain and pull. It is a seconds job, two inches of moving. But it will change the course of your day. The water slowly drains and the chill of cool air forces you to leap for warm towels. And crack on with your day.

The Bratislava Plan.. my plug moment was the second I blocked out a gap in my diary and booked a flight.
Who knows where this adventure will lead.

What's your "Pull the Plug" moment?
Go for it!!

Meanwhile in the UK - where it is also pretty cold, lots of containers are arriving - new stock and back in stocks. Including Salt Lamps (yes it's true).
We are implementing a two shift system to dramatically up Bath Bomb production, so we are aiming to keep them in stock in 2017 for more of the time.
Later we will move to a bigger factory and increase capacity again. If you stock and sell our bath bombs, please stick with us we are working hard to improve supplies.
Lots of things are happening at AW - all started by.. at some point in time a simple little. Pull the Plug moment :)
