Winter at GG

We enjoyed some puzzle making this week, in between a variety of other tasks. We shoveled snow...and even found a woolly worm caterpillar during our time outside. We spent time in the front greenhouse, getting the birdhouse gourds cleaned up and in the warehouse, emptying many buckets that were filled with ice and water. Time was also put into collecting our dried herbs into containers and making a delicious pancake breakfast for lunch. Today we are heading out to do some grocery shopping and to have lunch out in the community. Stop by anytime to be a part of all we do!

Dreaming of Fresh Veggies!

CSA time is coming fast! We've made our list and checked it twice as we get ready for an even better growing season than last year. Contact us by April 30 to get the EARLY BIRD price on a Weekly Share. The final deadline to subscribe is May 27. Limited number of shares available. Talk to any GG board member if you want more information, or pick up a CSA brochure from the GG table. You can also help out by spreading the word to friends and family members. Tell them about Goodness Grows, our staff and clients, and all the hard work that goes into growing delicious and healthy produce!

GG Restaurant Fundraisers

Some of our area restaurants have programs that allow you to dine in and earn money for non-profit organizations. We have an event at BJ's in March and Chipotle in April. Grab a flyer (or several) from our GG table, share with your friends, and eat dinner out for a great cause to help Goodness Grows earn money for our programs. Every dollar counts!

For I was hungry and you gave me food;
I was thirsty and you gave me a drink;
I was a stranger and you took me in;
I was naked and you clothed me;
I was sick and you visited me.
I was in prison and you came to me.

.....When you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,
you were doing it to me.

Matthew 25: 35-36, 40
