September 8, 2018

Hello, I'm so glad you're here!

Minnesota weather has been
F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C
this week.
With highs in the 70's, beautiful sunshine, and light breezes...it has been perfection. The absolute best times to gather with friends around the fire in the back yard, to catch up on life over some roasted s'mores.

My Favorite Things... You'll see a recipe for honey cornbread muffins below. And I wanted to share about my favorite muffin pan (link HERE). If you like to use paper liners in your pan, I always have these liners (link HERE) on hand.

Thank you so much for joining us here each week, for reading the blog, and for following along on social media. We are grateful for your company.

Wishing you an awesome (and delicious!) rest of your weekend!
Brenda

NEW: On The Blog This Week

Honey Cornbread Muffins are slightly sweet, with a moist cake-like crumb from buttermilk and butter. This is our family’s favorite cornbread muffin recipe!

This End of Summer Chicken Chili is chock-full of fresh summer vegetables and herbs. My family especially likes the fresh sweet corn kernels that add fun pops of sweetness and texture!

CRUMBS: What We Made Recently

Our girls were so happy to walk in the door yesterday, after a looooooong week of school,
to the smell of cookies in the oven...

If you've been reading this newsletter for awhile, or following along on Instagram, you know that I've been working on "the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe". Which, I realize, is a very personal thing.

But.

I'm happy to say that I am getting so much closer.

(This makes me very happy!)
