As the 2018 calendar year begins, it is time to start preparing for the 2018-2019 school year. You should have received re-enrollment information by email this week and you should also have received the information by mail. Early re-enrollment allows us to plan more effectively and to prepare our budget in a more timely manner. We appreciate your support of the early re-enrollment process.

We will focus our attention this week in the Friday Family Forum on any questions you might have regarding re-enrollment, tuition, uniforms, and FACTS. This is an exciting time in the history of our school and we look forward to seeing what God has planned for 2018-2019.

The next meeting of the CHCA Friday Family Forum will be on Friday, January 12th at 8:30 a.m. in the Junior High Space on the Church Campus. The objective of the forum is to provide an additional avenue for communication about the day to day happenings at CHCA. FACTS, tuition, re-enrollment, and uniform changes will be discussed. We hope to see you Friday.

Sign up today for Disciple NOW (DNOW) 2018 Spiritual Emphasis Week student weekend. The Cottage Hill Baptist Church student ministry would like to invite students in grades 6-12 to attend this awesome weekend experience in which students will IDENTIFY who they are in Christ as they learn to MIRROR their lives after Jesus. Students will enjoy small and large groups sessions. Worship will be led by Malachi Cole with Lion Chapel followed by guest speaker Acton Bowen. You don't want to miss this life changing event.

It is time for Coming Home at CHCA! Our theme this year is Bringing Home the Gold!
The annual Coming Home basketball game will be on February 2nd. Coming Home T-shirt order forms are being sent home and can be picked up in the office on either campus. T-shirts may be worn on Friday, February 2nd and regular school spirit days. Order forms should be turned in to either school office by Friday, January 19th along with your cash or check made payable to CHCA with Coming Home T-Shirt in the memo.

CHCA has a NEW YDL Developmental League for Track and Field! It is open to all 3rd-6th grade boys and girls who are interested. The events will include 100 and 200 meter sprints, 1/4 mile run and mile run, team relays, long jump, and throwing shot put. Meets will be on most Thursdays in February and March (excluding Winter break week and Mar.1). Fees for YDL Track will be $100.

We know that some are already committed to soccer, and we have done our best to work a practice schedule that will allow athletes to do both if they wish while only missing a minimum of practices. For those who are playing soccer and are already paying that fee; the fee charged for Track will only be $20 to cover the uniform.
