What Besides a Banana is Appealing?
We are! Bay Area Green Tours is appealing to you today to consider making a tax-deductible contribution. Our work is a passionate endeavor to connect people to local, sustainable "solution-aries" in fields such as agriculture, energy, waste, transportation, green jobs, social entrepreneurship and more. However for us to remain sustainable ourselves, we really do need your support! We hope you’ll consider making a tax deductible contribution to help us continue our work. And much gratitude to those who have already donated. |

Our Primary Mission
is to cultivate the next generation of community leaders by providing out-of-the-classroom educational experiences which enable them to envision and explore positive possibilities for their futures. Our ultimate goal is to support historically excluded, disadvantaged young people to become a part of the rapidly emerging green economy that is creating jobs and prosperity in the Bay Area. Every tax deductible donation expands our reach and ability to provide life-changing experiences for the local youth who truly are our future. |

COMPANY DONATIONS through BENEVITY
Workplace Giving: As part of the growing movement in conscious capitalism and corporate social responsibility initiatives, more and more companies are donating to local non-profits or offering to match employee donations. We’ve partnered with Benevity to make this process even easier. Check with your company’s HR department to see if they participate in a giving program through Benevity or another platform. This new year, make BAGT the chosen cause for your workplace giving program, and your gift could easily be doubled! All donations are tax deductible. |

Inspiring Young Visionaries
Here’s just one example: In 2011 while on a BAGT tour with Berkeley High School’s Green Academy, Ben Johnson first realized his passion for sustainable design and green architecture. Now a third year architecture major at Cal Poly, Ben is grateful for this vital influence on his life: "I came back from the BAGT Green Building Tour stunned. From that day on, I knew that I wanted my career focus to be sustainable architecture and design.”
