Encouragement

Thank you to Marcia Kreps for sharing and
Darla Smith for writing these weekly bits of encouragement.

"I pray you have had a wonderful week of blessings! Seems like my garden and flowers got the jump start they needed with the rain that came down. Looks like we will have a nice garden as soon as everything matures. It always amazes me that from such a tiny seed – great things spring forth. God takes such good care of us – He truly thought of everything for us. He is a good, good Father!"

"My WORD for this week has a twofold meaning – one is good and one we try to steer clear from, “CONTAGIOUS.” On the negative side, “contagious” can make us think of disease or sickness. But on the positive side, it means good things. Are we emitting those things that are “contagious” in a good way? Every one of our expressions of true love, joy, and worship should be “contagious.” Keep yourself open to others in a great “contagious” way. May we always shine Jesus’ love in every situation. Let others say of us – hey, what do they have that makes them love like that? Let’s not reflect a bad light so others may say – sure don’t want what they have! I want to always reflect my best light and be “contagious” to others. Holy Spirit, teach us how to become more “contagious” in everything we do. May we be so focused on You that only the best form of “contagious” is visible. This has happened to me several times with others (because I love to laugh), I get tickled at something probably not even that funny and have that uncontrollable laughter that you really shouldn’t be doing. Well, guess what? The person or persons sitting next to you will probably laugh or at least have a smile on their face because of it. Yep – “contagious.” Jesus – let us show our “contagious” for you to others. We need to pattern our lives like Jesus – no exceptions. Have a wonderful “contagious” week!"

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. ~ Matthew 28:19-20 (NKJV)

Mark your calendars and join us for church in the great outdoors! This year we are trying something new - meeting in the courtyard between the church and warehouse, hoping it will be more quiet than out front. Park like normal, head into the building, walk straight back past the desk to the hallway, and head out the door. We will set up chairs and canopies but feel free to bring your own camp chair or blanket. Collide kids will remain in the service. Invite a friend, bring your Bible, and join us as we Worship out in the beauty of God's creation!

We have two markets coming up in July, so our crew has been jamming as well as making catnip toys. Caleb enjoyed using the fluffy filling to pose as Santa Claus, as you can see in the photo.

Everyone is working hard on the raised beds and fields. We've been watching peppers, tomatoes, peas, and more pop out and grow. Such an exciting time of the year! Next week will be the first CSA pick up day and we can't wait! Looking forward to seeing our CSA members next Thursday between 4-7pm.

Our crew has been working this week on weeding, moving tables and chairs for the H&H Picnic & Giveaway, cutting trees and brush in the woods to keep hiking paths clear, and much more. We always have fun, no matter what!

Half of our group returns to Fitness For All next week, on Wednesday, for another class with the fantastic Bethany. We are looking forward to visiting her gym again and seeing what else we can accomplish there. Check out her page on Facebook to learn more.

For I was hungry and you gave me food;
I was thirsty and you gave me a drink;
I was a stranger and you took me in;
I was naked and you clothed me;
I was sick and you visited me.
I was in prison and you came to me.

.....When you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,
you were doing it to me.
