Encouragement

We received Darla Smith's devotion last week after the Scoop went out. While it could be considered a Christmas themed message, these words are relevant each and every day. Thank you to Marcia Kreps for sharing and Darla for writing.

"Jesus truly is the reason for the season! I pray you are all doing good during this glorious time that is upon us."

"The word God has for us this week is "ROOM." One definition is unobstructed space to be occupied. Wow. Have we left "room" for Jesus? Really strikes a cord of realization with me. Is the "room" all used up with the many obstructions of the day? I have decided I'm making "room." Let every heart prepare Him "room." I make "room" for you Jesus."

May we all strive to always make room for Jesus in our lives, each and every day!

~~~~~~~
For I was hungry and you gave me food;
I was thirsty and you gave me a drink;
I was a stranger and you took me in;
I was naked and you clothed me;
I was sick and you visited me.
I was in prison and you came to me.
.....When you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,
you were doing it to me.
Matthew 25: 35-36, 40
