Hi Everyone,
As winter recedes and spring is in the air it's time to look back as well as forward beginning with a landmark retrospective exhibition in Central London and following on almost immediately a different type of landmark exhibition on the Côte d'Azur.

London Art Week Invitation

Shadows of the Past‘ is an exciting and very unusual collaboration for London Art Week combining artefacts from the past with contemporary sculpture. I will be making new sculpture for this joint exhibition inspired by renaissance ceramics, presented by Bazaart who will display my work together with Renaissance pottery at ContiniArtUK, New Bond Street. Camille Leprince and Justin Raccanello's choice is highly selective: quality, rarity, condition and the impact of each ceramic is attractive to a modern public, collectors, connoisseurs and museums as much as young clients who might have never explored early European ceramic art before.

‘AIRWAVE‘ 2016, London Studio

After many months in the making and even a maiden voyage by sea container to Dubai my latest commissioned large-scale sculpture was finally installed successfully at Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort and Spa‘, Dubai, UAE. This important sculpture is based on Arabic dhow designs and comprises the centre piece for the new reception area of the 5 Star Hotel, greeting guests and visitors as they enter the building.

"It’s an exploding apparition, anti-gravitational, drawing attention to the fine line between liquid, air and that which is solid."

Special thanks to United Wire Limited, Edinburgh, for providing custom-made stainless steel mesh and to ARTMOVE Ltd.for special packaging and art logistics for the transportation to Dubai.

‘SOLN‘ Bronzemesh sculpture, suspended

Another fabulous gallery with whom I have worked and exhibited every summer season for more than 20 years is Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden.

SOLN‘ 2017 is a new angel sculpture in copper painted bronzemesh and now looks magnificent in the sunshine, suspended in the trees.

The Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden opened in April and I recommend a family Easter trip!
