Protect your FEET from this Texas summer HEAT!
Summer is here and it's a HOT one!
▪ Remember to apply sunscreen all over your feet, especially the tops and fronts of ankles, and don't forget to reapply after you've been in the water. ▪ Limit walking barefoot as much as possible. Walking barefoot can expose you to plantar's warts, ring worm and athlete's foot. ▪ Stay hydrated. Not only will this help with overall health, but will also minimize foot swelling caused by the heat.

▪ Wear shoes or flip-flops around the pool, the beach and in locker rooms to prevent injuries and limit the likelihood of contracting any bacterial infections. ▪ If your shoes will be getting wet, be sure to completely dry them before your next wearing to prevent bacteria or fungus from growing. ▪ Keep blood flowing with periodic ankle flexes, toe wiggles, and calf stretches.
